Leverhulme's Cellars

Cellars from Lord Leverhulme's bungalow and garden buildings are often exposed throughout the 'Chinese Gardens' at Rivington and are mostly partially filled with demolition rubble and silt, and capped by re-inforced concrete.

Maybe some artifacts from Leverhulme's occupation are buried beneath this rubble. Litter from very old glass bottles to drinks cans from the last 50 years are easily spotted.
