The Cinnabar Caterpillar

The caterpillar of The Cinnabar moth is found feeding on Ragwort flowers from June to August.

 

The Cinnabar Moth

The Cinnabar Moth has an unmistakeable red pattern and is often seen out in the daytime, on grasslands. This one was spotted near Rivington Lane.

Tiger Moth's are notable for their boldly patterned wings that show predators they are not good to eat.
