Medium sized deer, young and males often have spots, females are brown all with lighter under.
A dog sized, often nocturnal mammal with red-brown fur, thick-coated in winter and moulting in summer.
A small, mostly subterranean mammal with usually dark or black fur but can be pale brown to cream.
The smallest, native deer in Britain and by far the most common in the West Pennine Moors.
